PCDC finance report: Bank balances total over $125,000 vs. $115,000 this time last year. Discussion regarding benefits of and insurance liability for George Marshall events using PCDC as renter of venue; further discussion is needed.
Membership portal: Dave Colpo will work with Ric Goldman to execute the recommended changes without needing specific feedback from the board.
Board elections will happen in early June.
PCDC purchased three new sound monitors for use at Fulton Hall.
Contra dances continue to have good attendance. The contra committee is looking for an additional committee member to join.
Megaband preparations are progressing well. PCDC allocated $200 towards the costs of an afterparty for the band.
English dances continue to have good attendance; younger dancers are starting to show up regularly. Promotion of dances now include information about calling style (positional, gendered etc.).
The English Ball is likely to be held at the newly renovated Oaks Park next year, though rental rates are currently unknown.
NW Passage preparations are progressing well. The caller will be Joanna Reiner Wilkinson.
Raindance preparations are progressing well. Registered dancers now number over 200; there is still room for more.
Hillsboro dance was cancelled due to snow. Vic needs help with promotion.
A new email group will be created to include both board members and other interested parties who regularly contribute to board meetings.
Workflow for finished newsletters now includes sending a final copy to the archivist to be stored on the shared PCDC Google Drive.
