Board members attending: Ash Goren, Victor Fiore, Cynthia Stenger, Kathy Story, Lindsey Grayzel, Rick Kimball.   Guests attending: Ric Goldman, Sue Songer, Lisa Scott, Becky Griswold, Cayley Buckner

PCDC election will be held June 1 using election buddy.com. Kathy Story, Dave Colpo, Cynthia Stenger are up for reelection. Mark Swan is stepping down to term limits. Lisa Scott is running as ECD rep and Becky Griswold as Contra rep.

Finance report: highest balance in a long time, savings now has over $25,000 in reserves.

Megaband report: 350 paying dancers provided net revenue of $3373.  Sue Songer letter, discussion of lessons learned  to guide planning for next year.

Sound equipment: Pcdc purchased three monitors and a Lavalier wireless microphone totaling $770.

Dave Colpo is acting as the voice of the board to direct and approve changes quickly while working with Ric Goldman on the membership portal on the website.

Lindsey Grayzel requests that someone else be in charge of the annual picnic planning.

Callers workshop: PCDC approves spending $150 to pay Laurel for the callers workshop she put on in March.

Portland Contra Committee report: Tamra Mattis has joined the committee; Curtis Roth, and Kelly Tabor are no longer on the committee. Contra concierge is a new program aimed at welcoming new dancers. Attendance at dances is often over 100 people. The Fulton floor is being refinished June 30 through July 12, the committee is looking for an alternative venue for the dance on July 12.

English report: weekly dances are going well, with many new dancers returning. Attendance average is 32 with a peak of 42, average profit of $80 per night and shares will be paid despite the raise in minimum compensation. Caroline Klug is now booking callers. David and Cynthia will be unavailable for the next four months for medical care. June 6 will be a community lead dance. English country dance will drop the second Sunday dance after May for the summer. 

Northwest passage report: registration is open. 57 are registered with a goal of 110. The committee expects a loss  this year due to rising costs. 

Hillsborough dance report: Attendance is poor,  morale is poor, neither Vixen nor Tarka can do publicity. The next dance is June 13 and may be the last dance.
