The English Country Dance Committee meetings are held in odd months, on-line, from 7:00 – 9:00.

The Portland Contra Committee meets (usually) on 2nd Monday's to support the needs of Contra dance events and dancers.

Our Saturday night series at Fulton Hall continues! Coriolis will play for our dancing pleasure: Dave Hamlin (mandolin), Jon Neff (guitar), Victor Fieor (fiddle). Laurel Thomas will call dances using gender-neutral terms.
Fulton is unavailable on July 12, so we've shifted the dance to July 19.
7:00 pm newcomer/refresher lesson
7:30 pm dancing starts
10:30 dancing ends
Some dancers head to a pub for "afters" -- all are welcome!

Annual PCDC Picnic
Plans are underway for the annual PCDC picnic/ potluck at Fulton Park on Saturday, July 26 3:00-6:00 PM. We will meet under the trees for lots of great food, games, music and a clothing exchange. A main course and drinks will be provided, please bring a side dish or dessert to share. Bring a chair or blanket, your musical instruments for a jam session, and dance clothing for the clothing exchange. Let’s spend an afternoon of fun with friends. The 4th Saturday PCDC contra dance will follow at 7 PM, with music by Pleasantly Frantic and calling by Gordy Euler. Hope to see you there!

Our Saturday night series at Fulton Hall continues! Pleasantly Frantic will play for our dancing pleasure: Erica Liebert, Landon Kuhn, Meg Tarpley, J-P Douglas, Ben Blochman. Gordy Euler will call dances using gender-neutral terms.
We will continue to monitor potential exposures at PCDC events and adjust policies as needed. Refer to the PCDC Covid policy for details.
