Thu May 12, 2022Learn contra dance tunes by ear!
If you play a melody instrument and want to learn some of those tunes you’ve been dancing to, the Second Thursday PCDC Dance Tunes Sessions might be for you! Tunes are taught by ear in true folk music style, by local musicians who are great teachers and are masters of contra dance music. The focus is on developing a common repertoire so we can play with other musicians at jam sessions, and at PCDC's 5th Saturday Open Band. All instruments and all levels are welcome!
Cost: $10 for PCDC members, $15 for non-members

Sat May 14, 2022Our Saturday night contra dance series at Fulton Hall continues on May 14! The band Riff Raff will head down from Olympia to play for us. Lindon Tony and Jessie Partridge lead the band, joined by Dante Faulk and Eros Fault. This event will be a contra dance with Woody Lane calling using gender-neutral calling.
All folks must be vaxxed, boosted, and masked. Check our COVID-19 rules for attendees so you don't get turned away at the door.
Preregistration no longer required, but if you have not been to a PCDC event in the past year, you can help us expedite the entry process by filling out our contact tracing online registration form!
